A Bristol City Centre bleed kit has been used to treat a person with a head injury following an incident. Fast thinking security officers, aware of the kits location, quickly took it to the patient and provided immediate first aid. Contents of our kit as well as other local first aid kits were used to clean and control the bleeding until medical professionals arrived to fully assess and treat the patient on scene.
The pouch has been restocked within 3 hours of the online report, following staff scanning the QR code on the front of the unit to report its use.
