job when confronted with a patient who’s losing a lot
of blood, but we wanted to go further in those crucial
minutes when an ambulance was still on its way…”

Why the Bleed Kit Partnership with HeartSafe Is the Right Choice for Your Community?

Many organisations stock a basic first aid kit and believe they’re covered. But when catastrophic bleeding occurs – from a serious accident, violent incident, or medical emergency – standard first aid kits don’t contain the tools needed. Every minute of severe blood loss matters.

Unlocked 24/7 Public Access

Unlike locked cabinets, HeartSafe dispensers are immediately accessible no code, no key, no delay when every second counts.

Free UK Mapping & Registration

Your kit is registered on the national bleed kit locator map, so emergency services can direct the public straight to it.

Clear Body Mapping Instructions

Developed with SWAST medical professionals any member of the public can use this kit effectively in an emergency, no training required.

Pole/Railings Attachment Kit For The Model 2 Dispenser

Some people have difficulty with listed buildings, where community bleed kits are needed most. For this reason, we have designed a new attachment, a Bleed Kit Model 2 dispenser, around poles of different diameters, from 75mm up to 200mm, so a street sign type posts up to a telegraph or CCTV pole. It will also work on railings.

Haemostatic Dressings

Haemostatic and absorbant wound dressing containing Calcium Alginate fibres to promote clotting process and control bleeding. Dressing meets requirements of ISO13485 and Medical Device Regulation (MDR) (EU) 2017/745.

Trauma Dressings

A TraumaFix product is a sterile, high-pressure bandage designed to quickly stem major bleeding by providing a highly absorbent, non-adherent wound pad and a pressure bandage with a quick-fix Velcro fastening. Key features include its ability to absorb large amounts of fluid, rapid application, and the capacity to secure pressure while the casualty is moved.

Key features and benefits:

  • Rapid bleeding control:

Specifically designed to quickly stop major blood flow, allowing first responders to immediately attend to other injuries or monitor the patient.

  • High absorbency:

The dressing pad is highly absorbent, capable of soaking up significant amounts of fluid, which helps keep the wound clean and minimizes contamination.

  • Pressure application:

Features an integral pillow and a pressure bandage that, when applied with direct pressure, help stem major blood flow.

  • Secure and easy to apply:

A Velcro-style fastening allows for super-fast application and quick, easy securing of the bandage, which can be done by the casualty or a first responder.

  • Non-adherent pad:

The wound pad is non-adherent, meaning it will not stick to the wound site, which prevents further trauma when the dressing is removed.

  • Sterile and vacuum-packed:

Each dressing is vacuum sealed for sterility, which minimizes storage space and ensures it is ready for immediate use.

  • Versatile application:

It can be applied to almost any body part and is suitable for a wide variety of major injuries.

Tourniquet

The Code Red tourniquet is an emergency device for controlling catastrophic bleeding from limb injuries, designed for rapid application and strength. Key features include high-strength nylon webbing, a durable aluminum buckle and windlass, and an integrated time band for recording application time. It is intended to be used in situations when direct pressure is not sufficient to stop severe bleeding’
