A UK First for Stepper Point near Padstow, North Cornwall.

This HeartSafe cabinet is powered by Solar Panels and Wind Turbine ensuring the correct temperature of the cabinet is maintained throughout the seasons.  Each day, hundreds of active walkers and holiday makers walk this coastal path.

The local initiative of the Coast Guard at NCI Stepper Point together with the charity FLEET (Front Line Emergency Equipment Trust) have provided this life-saving equipment should anybody be unfortunate enough to suffer a cardiac arrest.

The Lookout is situated along the North Cornwall Coastal path between Padstow and Trevone.

Stepper Point is part of the National Coastwatch Institution, a charity which helps to oversee the safety of persons and vessels along the UK coastline. This station proudly guards the entrance to the Camel estuary and the port of Padstow, with an excellent view over the notorious Doom Bar.
